Promo Tips 101: How to Increase your chances on winning.

We all want to win whether it's for ourselves or for our family. Here's some quick tips that worked for me and some of the people I know. Good luck~

1 The Acronym:

Hindi mo kailangan ng straw para sumisip haha. Pag pagandahan ng sagot ang promo, try mong lagyan ng meaning ang bawat letra ng name ng isang kompanya. Madalas itong mag work promise ^_^

Example: DUREX (yes the condom haha)

I’m passionate about
[D]oing
[U]nusual
[R]omantic
s[EX]traordinary “ACTIVITIES” with my partner using Durex

This is actually the entry of the winner from DurexPh’s promo who won an iPad Mini!

2 The Mafia:

Pangalawang beses ko na gagamitin ang term na to. Mafia is a group of people diba? This works best sa mga samples and raffles. More entries, more chances of winnings. XD

3 The Photo-bomber:

Both entries won (samsung tab3 lite and 5k sodexo GC) dahil sa caption, sa picture at in my opinion dahil sa photo bomber nga :)

4 The Hardcore:

Pag may tyaga may nilaga. Minsan nagiging lechon pa yan pag sobrang effort talaga ang binigay mo sa entry mo. Ok lang na gandahan mo at mag invest ka ng konting time sa entry mo lalo na kung worth it naman ang prize. Wag yung basta me mapasa lang.

Example: Some of the Big time winners that I know $_$ Who'm proved, that hard work pays-off. I also hope they don't mind me posting their winning entries here :D

Bernadeth Cabardo

Cocoy Dagasuhan

 Jaff Gabriel

Try nyo wala namang mawawala and if ever maging effective. Please leave a comment about your experience.

GOOD LUCK!

Is it worth it to get Loyalty Cards?

One day I’ve checked my wallet and thought it had a lot of stuffs inside. Unfortunately it’s not money that’s making it bulky hahaha! ^_^ I just recently noticed that I have a lot of Cards from different restaurants and places (I know other people who have more but yeah…)

Out of these cards, here’s a quick review and rates of how useful they are base on, affordability and how it can help you save.

First one on the list is
7-Eleven’s Every Day Rewards Card

Price: 10 pesos

Benefits: Every 50 pesos purchase (single or accumulated) entitles you to 1 point. You can use these points to redeem certain reward items depending on what’s available. There are branches that host a WiFi network and you can get access for 15 minutes at a cost of 1 point too.

Score: 3.5/5 I go to 7-Eleven almost everyday to buy drinks or snacks when at work so this one tends to get used a lot by me. It’s a bit slow to accumulate points though. Hoping they can give more points per 50 pesos.

Next is
Shakey’s Pizzanatic Super Card

Price: 399 pesos (may differ depending on the promotion)

Benefits: Earn 1 point Every 100 pesos worth of purchase. 1 point = 1 pesos.
10% discount for dine in or take out.
Buy 1 get 1 if you have a delivery for a large or party size pizza with 1.5 liter of Coke
Birthday Pizza, You get 1 free pepperoni pizza on your birthday. You can claim it 3 days on or before your birthday.

Score: 3.5/5 I love everything about it except for the point system also. The price of the card can really make you get a second thought. If it weren’t for the free banana split we got when we bought it and with the 10% immediate discount we got after spending roughly 1,500 pesos I would not have bought it. All in all it looks like we got the card for only 99 pesos. 150+ discount on our food and I believe the banana split cost somewhere around 150 pesos also. I just wish they would give us a choice about the birthday pizza since not everyone likes pepperoni.

Third one is
Mercury Drug Suki Card

Price: Get it for free if you spend 1000 worth of items.

Benefits: Earn Suki points which you can use to redeem certain stuffs. Every accumulated purchase worth Php200.00 is equivalent to 1 point.

Score: 4/5
Who doesn’t buy medicine or vitamins? I’d say this card is worth it especially since you can get it for free. I’d say make the most out of all the things you buy with this card +

Second to the last is
SM Advantage Card

Price: 150 pesos

Benefits: Too many to mention but the ones I like are;
Discounts for stores affiliated with SM.
Earning SMAC points that can be used to redeem a lot of rewards!

Score: 4/5
Awesome promos like a raffle for car or even a fully furnished condo! It’s doesn’t hurt to try. One of the cards I can definitely say that’s worth getting. Every savings count, I’m hoping they can do something like spend a certain amount and get this card for free LOL but aside for that I love this card.

Last but not the least
Jolibee’s Happy Plus Card

Price: 150 pesos

Benefits: Earn happy plus points, Every P 50 food purchase earns you one happy point. One happy point is equal to 1 peso.
Monthly Cash Winner, Every time you load up you earn raffle entries and can earn up to 100 thousand pesos. I was surprised when I suddenly saw my name on the list before for one of the lucky card holder who won 1000.00 pesos. Hey better than nothing right? ^_^
Get certain freebies like sundaes or fries with certain minimum purchases.
Can be used to Jollibee obviously hehe, Greenwhich, Red Ribbon and Chowking and as an added bonus earn 1 happy plus point for every 100 pesos spent if you gas up at Caltex.

Score: 5/5
The most useful card out there. When I bought mine for 150 pesos it included a 50 pesos discount for any purchase at jolibee, 50 pesos off for chowking, 50 pesos for greenwhich and 100 pesos off for red ribbon. If you think about it you get more of what you paid for. Just like what Kris and Bimby said in their commercial “SULIT”

I’m not sure what other loyalty cards out there is worth getting. Do leave a comment if you have any suggestions ^_^Y

Top 5 questions in an interview for a call center agent.

Don’t let this happen to you by being prepared and answering correctly.

Fake it, till you make it is the name of the game called Interview. Most of the interviewers will tell you offhand to be as honest as possible because that’s how they will see your capabilities so they can put you on the right nature of business. This, however, is only partially true. It’s pretty much just to also make sure they don’t hire any of them bad apples.

Here are the top 5 questions you might encounter during an interview to be a call center agent:

#5 What are your strengths and weaknesses?

The key to this question is to have at least 3 things ready beforehand. Make sure your strengths are really something that makes you an asset for the company and for weaknesses you have to have a good comeback for each trait you mention. E.g. “I’m Lazy that’s why I use the most efficient way to finish work easily”.

#4 What kind of account are you looking for?

One of the trick questions by those interviewers trying to catch you off guard. It never hurts to say that you want to be placed in a Sales, Care, Collections, Technical or any other account but if you really want to get a job. Your best pick is to say what you really want but follow it up with “I’m also alright with any other accounts. I’m always willing to learn just in case that the said position is not available”. They’re looking for someone that can be pretty much thrown to any accounts without complaints.

#3 What are your achievements?

When you have some call center background this one is easy. Just tell them any random stats that you’re previous call center values most and say that your one of the best at those but if you’re a fresh graduate, focus on your school achievements such as being part of any school organization even if you never got into one because you were busy playing video games or going to the mall.

#2 How many times in a year have you been absent/late and what are the possibilities that it can happen again?

What’s the use of hiring someone if that person will not be present when the work needs to be done? I’m sure you understand that this is one the crucial parts of the interview. Try to say something dramatic like “I can only think of a life and death situation to make me go on absent or become late” or you can say something simple and short like “I couldn’t really think of any reason why I would be absent or late” Remember less is better. Less talk, fewer mistakes. Try to make it short and concise.

#1 How much is your expected salary?

It’s what we’ve all been waiting for right? It’s a good idea to be straight to the point here because the interviewer understands that we need money and that’s the main reason why we are applying for a job. In case you get asked if it’s negotiable or not go ahead and say yes. Patiently wait to get to the Job Offer part before you stop. Victory only happens until you hear the Job Offer part of the deal and since you’ve allotted some time already, try to do your best to get at least to that part.

Hope these tips become handy during your interview cause it worked like a charm in mine ^__^ Always be confident and remember “Fake it till you make it”.

It’s not complicated: Online Shopping at ZALORA~

I’ve been working in the call center industry for quite some time now and the usual sentence I hear in the floor is “I don’t have time to go shopping”. That’s why business minded agents usually bring brochure or clothing in the office to sell to the busy body agents.  I can’t blame them, night shift takes a bit of toll and most of the time, day becomes sleepy time.

What comes to my mind when I hear the word online shopping? Not that much actually but here are a few after coming across ZALORA:

Is it a legit site?
100% legit as it can get. ZALORA is Asia's leading online fashion destination.

How to find what I need?
It’s easy as 1 2 3. You can type in the search bar for what you’re looking for.
There are also categories for each type of items you can purchase and on the left side you can filter the items per category

Example for Clothing: T-shirts, Polos, Button-Downs and etc..
You’ll also find the Fiter by Size, Price, Brand and Color splendid which makes it absolutely easier to find your best fit may it be for your Budget or Taste!

How do you pay?
Here’s the most sort out question amongst everything else. It’s amazing how the site values security and the worries of shoppers. Just in case you don’t want to use any of your credit card information. You’ll love the fact that CASH ON DELIVERY is available. There’s a 30 day free return policy and anything worth a thousand of purchase is automatically shipped for free.

Like Zalora on Facebook, you might get a chance to win on some of their promo for free shopping. Just enter the promo code and voila!

Tips: If your're a first time shopper use this voucher code ZBAPZm2 and get a 15% discount off your first purchase.

Will it fit me?
This shouldn’t be much of a worry since you can return the item if it’s too big or too small but just to be sure you can always go the help part of the site and click on the “What Size Should I Choose” option. This helps you convert sizes from international, uk, us and so forth.

Delivery TimeFrame?
2-3days within metro manila and 5-7 days outside manila. Base on experience though i got my order the next day i order my items. Nice right?

Here’s what I got for myself, my dad and my father in law ^__^
All in all, my entire first ever experience with online shopping has been incredible thanks to ZALORA and If there’s any down side to it, it's that you can easily get addicted on how fast and convenient it is to shop when you’re tired and just want to lay down in the sofa or bed but want to get in with fashion.

Pregnancy Update: 35, 36 and 37 Weeks

My last update was 32, 33 and 34th week. My Prenatal check up was postponed for several times already, but I was able to meet up with my OB last October 24 and today, November 4.

October 24, I had my Ultrasound done to check baby's position and the gender. But unfortunately at that time baby's still on breech so again we are unable to determine the gender. My unborn baby also weighs less, just 2371 grams or 5.2 pounds which made a difference on the my expected delivery date, instead of November, it showed as December 7, 2013. I was worried that my baby weighs less when I know that I am eating a lot and that I take on my daily vitamins. However I was a bit guilty since I always sleep late at night.

Moving on, today again I went for my weekly appointment with my OB anticipating a good news. And guess what? Finally my unborn baby was able to maneuver inside my womb in to a favorable position, yes he/she is now on Cephalic presentation. That explains the pain I felt a few days ago. The pain was kind of unbearable I even thought I am already having a labor. So it only means, I will be having a normal delivery, and we'll be able to find out the gender. However I preferred to keep it a suspense for another week, we'll get to know the gender on my next visit. My unborn baby also gained weight, my expected delivery date again varied from Dec.7 to December 1. But nothing is certain, basing on my LMP (last menstrual period) it should be November 15, 2013. So I am really getting anxious as early as now, because it could be earlier.

So nowadays, as my anxiety increases I am also feeling that my energy is decreasing. I am feeling unusually lazy that I don't get to do the things that I used to enjoy. I am sleepy even when I just woke up and it goes on all through out the day. Well as they say I gotta save my energy for the big day, and yes that's what I'm going to do!

Pregnancy Update: 32, 33 and 34 Weeks

I can't believe it, I'm already on my 34th week of pregnancy, 6 more weeks or less I will be having our third bundle of joy! I posted an update during my 31st week however this past weeks had been busy that's why I wan't able to post any blog entry. Also my baby girl is kind of having an issue whenever I'm in front of the computer (papansin hehe) which I find sweet.

So during this weeks, my unborn baby is continuously developing her organs. She now has fingernails, toenails and hair. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well. At this point a baby can already be delivered, although preterm as long as they don't have any health problems they will be fine but may need a short stay on the neonatal care.

By the way, after my prenatal check up last September 13 I was supposed to go back on the 27th but I wan't able to go that day. I had it postponed for a week due to time conflict. Jaear just started out with his new job and had a lot of things to accomplish that week. So I was able to visit my OB last last week October 4. I had my shot of Tetanus Toxoid and my OB checked on my unborn baby.

The heart beat was normal, but still my baby hasn't turned to Cephalic presentation which is ideal for a normal delivery. So it's still hard to determine the gender. My OB also gave me a heads up that if my baby wont turn before my expected delivery, I might undergo a Cesarean Section.

I had my 2 kids via normal delivery so as much as possible I would want this to be that way for the following reasons:
Shorter hospital stay
Quicker recovery time
I can breastfeed immediately
Decreased risk of maternal hemorrhage, blood clots, and damage to internal organs.
Decrease risk of illnesses for my baby.
Less expensive.

As a nurse I do have knowledge about this and I also made some researches already. Both have their Pro's and Con's but I still prefer to give birth the natural way.

My next visit to my OB is on the 18th right after my birthday. We will be repeating the ultrasound once more to check my unborn baby's position, hopefully by that time he/she's already on Cephalic. But based on my readings, at this point my baby doesn't have enough room to maneuver inside my womb because his bigger now. But I'm still putting my hope up,well I am also eager to know the gender, I really haven't picked out a baby name yet haha!

Can you suggest any good names for both boy and girl? I'm open for any suggestions :)

Pregnancy Update: 31 Weeks + Prenatal Check up Issues

"31 Weeks/How your baby's growing:

This week, your baby measures over 16 inches long. He weighs about 3 1/3 pounds (about the size of a coconut) and is heading into a growth spurt. He can turn his head from side to side, and his arms, legs, and body are beginning to plump out as needed fat accumulates underneath his skin. He's probably moving a lot, too, so you may have trouble sleeping because your baby's kicks and somersaults keep you up. Take comfort: All this moving is a sign that your baby is active and healthy."babycenter.com

Friday the 13th was my Prenatal Check Up with my new Obstetrician. I know, 31 Weeks and yet a new OB! I'll be telling you why a little bit later. Alright so you know how the regular check up's go right? I'm not gonna go further on that instead I would wanna talk more about the Ultrasound result.

Let's start with the amniotic fluid that surrounds my unborn baby and allows her to to float and move is Adequate so nothing to be worried about. Because High level or also called Polyhydramnios and Low level or Oligohydramnios are considered abnormal signs and might be a sign of certain condition so a close monitoring by a health care provider is required.

Next, Baby's Fetal Heart tone is 159 bpm (beats per minute) which is normal.

At 31 Weeks my unborn baby is still on Breech presentation. Breech meaning buttocks or feet first as opposed to the normal head first or cephalic presentation. It's still early to be worried though because they will eventually turn on their own over the next 2 months. But comparing this to my 2 previous pregnancy as early as 2nd trimester both Kuya T and Baby A are already positioned head first. Well every pregnancy and baby develops differently. But because of my unborn baby's presentation it was kinda hard to determine the gender, but my OB first thought it was a baby girl but then told me that we can just repeat the ultrasound on my next visit just to be sure. Oh well, we were kinda hoping it to be a boy but whatever God provides we would be more than willing to accept.

Also I don't know what her basis are but my OB told me that my baby is a bit small but not to much of a concern but she just prescribed an additional vitamins.

Based on my LMP, Last Menstrual Period my Expected Date of Delivery is on November 15, 2013 but on the Ultrasound it's November 23, 2013. This is okay though.

We just discussed some important points then after the ultrasound we then scheduled my next visit which is going to be on September 27, 2013.

Okay, so let's now talk about me having a new Obstetrician. Actually it's already my 3rd time switching and hopefully the last. When we found out that I was pregnant I first had my Prenatal at Perpetual Help Medical Center until July. But as soon as we found out that it's gonna cost us around 40-50,000 to have our baby there, we decided to look somewhere else. Seriously that is quite expensive and not practical at all since it's only J who's working. But since we haven't stayed here in Las Pinas even for a year, we are really not familiar with the whereabouts. We don't know where else to go, but we know Las Pinas General Hospital because we would always pass by the said Hospital whenever we go to Baclaran. So we gave it a try. I had Kuya Tantan in a Government Hospital way back 2009 it was in my hometown La Union, though I had my own OB and I was in a private room. If only my OB in Perpetual is affiliated to a different Hospital we may have considered her but she's not so I have to find a new one. So I had my check up twice at LPGH until I decided to look somewhere else again for the following reasons.

First, since it's a Government Hospital there are a lot of patients. I have to be there early in the morning to get a number card. Then I together with the other patients would have to wait until 10 am, because that's the time that Doctors arrive. Imagine I was there 8 am and I got the 47 number card, I have to wait 2 hours for the Doctor and few more hours to be checked because my number card belongs to the last batch. For those 2 check up's I finished past 12 nn.

Second, in a clinic/room there are like 2-3 Doctors and 3 patients at the same time. And i don't like how some Doctors could be so rude, giving unsolicited comments about patients personal life with other people around. In this way confidentiality is already violated. Seriously I don't know how some Doctors who works in a Government/Public areas could be so mean. Is it because these patients don't pay for their service should they deserve to be treated less compared to those who are paying? During my College years when I was still a nursing student, I already had this observation. Reality check, even in the health care service there is inequality. If you have money then you will be getting better service if not, then you have to deal with the consequences. Isn't it sad?

Third, J's working night shift and goes home around 9-10am and by that time the Hospital is no longer giving out card numbers. The first time I had my check up there J's doesn't have work, then for the second time since it was already scheduled I have to be there early so my in laws took the kids to the office where they work and just had J picked them up. We can't do this every time naman, so time conflict talaga.

Good thing, there's a clinic just in front of the Hospital so last September 13th I went there for the first time, and that's where I will be having my Prenatal Check up from now on. But no, I am not having my baby there, not anymore after my bad experience when I gave birth to baby A in a lying in clinic in Manila. My new OB is affiliated to other Hospitals aside from the said clinic, so I have an option as to where I would wanna give birth. But almost all the Hospitals she is affiliated to are Private Hospitals so yes we need to pay, but we already discussed about it and it's way lesser compared to 50,000. Indeed "Money talks" big time! Come to think of it, better treatment from your OB, better Hospital facilities plus no mo waiting for long periods of time, hawak mo pa oras mo.I know we were trying to be practical and would wanna spend less if possible but there's really a conflict eh, so ipon ipon din pag may time.

Baby Measles: Things You Should Know!

So yesterday baby A's fever already subsided but this afternoon we took her back to the Hospital. No not because of fever but because while we were changing her diaper I noticed that there were few rashes on her torso. I immediately thought of measles, chicken pox or any of the kind. Though I am a nurse I was actually confused, you know since I graduated and passed the Nursing Licensure Exam I wasn't able to put my profession into practice (Nakaka-kalawang ng utak pag nasa bahay lang lol). So I just Googled it up based on the signs and symptoms that baby A manifested and it turns out to be Baby Measles. Although we already knew what it was, we still decided to take her to the Hospital so that this would be noted on her records. Her Pediatrician is no longer available so we went to see a different Pediatrician instead. Upon assessment, she confirmed that it's just Baby Measles. There isn't a treatment for this, the rashes usually heal after 2-3 days, though she prescribed Cetirizine an anti-histamine because the rashes could be itchy and might make her irritable.

Anyways let me just squeeze in some photos :)

Picture-picture before we left

Kuya Tantan striking a pose.

Baby Athena's OOTD. No rashes on her face yet.

Photos were taken at the hospital while waiting for our turn.

As you can see on the photos above baby Athena's face doesn't have any rashes yet, it was still around her torso. But all through the day, the rashes continue to spread out until it reaches her face.

Photos were taken just this evening.

Poor baby A, this rashes could last for 3 days. Hopefully, by Sunday it will all be gone because that's her 1st birthday.

It's my first time to encounter this with my kid. Kuya Tantan didn't have this before. It's nothing really serious but still knowing my baby is sick makes me feel sad. Besides, since it's viral and we live in the same household it could be transmitted to Kuya Tantan and me. Good thing I am already on my third trimester so I don't have to worry about the congenital anomaly. Though it could cause infection to me and it might be transmitted to the baby, so on my next Prenatal, I should inform my OB that I was exposed to Roseola virus/Baby measles.

Alright, so I just wanna raise awareness about this disease, Here are things you should know about Baby Measles. Read on...

Baby Measles

Roseola infantum is mostly called baby measles. It is a contagious viral baby illness, a bit like the other contagious childhood illnesses, and is often mistaken for either measles (Rubeola) or German measles (Rubella). Babies usually contract it between six months and two years (more commonly in the first year). Roseola is harmless and parents don't have to be concerned.

Symptoms

Roseola starts quite suddenly with a high temperature which usually lasts for about three days. Strangely though, there seems to be nothing really wrong with the baby. Baby's temperature peaks to very high levels with Roseola, often tipping the mercury at 39C and 39.5C. After about three days, the fever suddenly breaks and at about the same time, a fine pink rash erupts over baby's torso and just encroaches onto the upper arms and thighs. During this time, the baby is usually very irritable and his behavior and appetite are far more likely to be disturbed than during the fever stage. All symptoms of the rash and irritability should clear within about five to seven days of the eruption of the rash

Treatment

There is no real treatment for Roseola, but use these tips to keep the fever under control:
  • Undress baby and keep only his vest and nappy on.
  • Cool the room by opening all the windows and switching on a fan. Don't put your little one in a draught though.
  • Wrap cool wet linen cloths around your baby's legs and arms, changing them every couple of minutes.
  • Place a face flannel with ice blocks on the nape of baby's neck or forehead.
  • Bath baby in tepid water - not cold.
  • Increase your baby's liquid intake.
  • Use a homoeopathic fever support treatment like Fever drops or the tissue salt remedy Ferrum phos during the day. This will not break his fever but will help the body deal with the underlying infection more rapidly and often prevents the need for other medicine.
  • Avoid giving small babies and children aspirin. Paracetamol-based medication is safer.
  • To help baby through the itchy phase, add a pot of rooibos tea and a handful of bicarbonate of soda to his bathwater and apply a calendula-based cream to soothe the itch. Keep up baby's fluid intake but don't force him, to eat if he doesn't want to.
The difference between Rubella, Rubeola and Roseola

Rubella (German measles)

Rubella is a highly infectious viral disease which mostly affects children, adolescents and young adults, and is spread by airborne droplets. It is a fairly mild disease and only a slight risk of secondary encephalitis exists. Your child will feel a bit under the weather for 10 days to two weeks before the rash appears. Many outbreaks are so mild as to go unnoticed.

The tiny pinkish-red spots of Rubella look more like a patch than individual spots, and they can first be detected behind the ears and on the forehead, thereafter spreading to the rest of the body. The rash passes after two to three days. Swollen lymph glands can be detected in the nape of the neck. A rise in temperature of up to 38¡C is common, but consult your doctor should it increase. Be on the lookout for signs of a headache and a stiff neck, then seek medical help immediately.

Rubeola (Measles)

Measles is a highly contagious viral disease, mostly without serious complications. The measles virus spreads by small droplets from the nose, throat or mouth of an infected person.

Symptoms like a runny nose and coughs occur during the incubation period, which is between eight and 12 days. Your child's temperature can rise to 40C, and he might complain of a headache at this stage. Small, white spots on the inside of the cheeks, called Koplik spots, will confirm the diagnosis of measles. Your child will probably also experience sensitivity to bright light and the eyes will be painful and red. After about three days, a brownish-red rash begins behind the ears, which soon spreads to cover the face and the whole trunk.

Typhoon Preparedness Tips

Recently Philippines was battered by typhoon Maring, which left some of our fellow Filipinos homeless and some have lost loved ones. Some however are already starting anew and moving on after all life goes on.
Before I went MIA for a week I posted
here about our experience during the said typhoon. It isn't the worst experience of all however, there's a lesson learned since we weren't really prepared during that time. It's rainy season once again so we could expect more episodes of raining or if worse comes to worst another typhoon. So I personally created a Guideline on the things that needs to be done during emergency situation such as typhoons. It's always best to be prepared than sorry.

Be updated!
Before and during the typhoon it's best to keep yourself updated with the latest weather report.

Food and Water:
Store adequate supply of water. At home we have 2 (5 gallon) water container we are actually planning on adding another one. Since we have a baby we also store about 2-3 (6 liters) of Wilkins water just to be safe.
As for the food, we do our grocery/market shopping bi-monthly. So aside from our 2 weeks supply of food, we have to prepare foods that could last at least a week for emergency. This foods should be non perishable and easy to prepare.
Cerelac, Gerber or any baby foods that are easy to prepare if you have a baby.

First Aid Kit
Should anything happen it's best to have this. Alcohol, Cotton, Bandage and so on.

Medication:
If you are on maintenance, taking daily vitamins/supplement store at least a month supply or more.

Emergency Kit:
If the electricity shuts down you should have candles, match/lighter, Flashlight, Emergency Light, radio to stay updated and mobile phones.
Avoid making unnecessary calls to avoid network congestion. Have extra batteries if possible.

Emergency Hotline Numbers:
Make sure to store all the Emergency Hotline numbers on your phone, have it written as a back up or try to memorize them.

Extra Clothing:
and blanket if possible. It's gonna be cold the children would need it.

All of these should be stored where they would be easily accessible. And try not to panic during emergency situations as this could lead you disoriented. You have to stay calm and focused.

Try to create an emergency/disaster plan especially if your place is prone to massive flooding and there's a need to evacuate. Try to assign task to each family members, it's best to have everyone involved with your emergency plan.

So that's what I have thought about, it's shortlisted and based on my family structure.Have I missed out on anything? Feel free to share your own tips, would love to hear them!

Be safe everyone!
