When you're a mom, you only want the best for your children. It starts the very moment they're conceived, the 9 long months we carry them in our womb, the day they were born until they grow up. It never stops. I am actually getting emotional right now. Oh, how fast time flies! All my 3 children are not so little anymore. I have a pre-teen, a tweener and a pre-tweener! I can't help but reminisce the time when they were still babies. So mommies and daddies, enjoy your babies while they are that tiny. The days may be long, but the years are short!

March 20, 2022, is World Oral Health Day! I took this opportunity to talk to my kids about oral health. I emphasized that being healthy should be holistic, so we shouldn't be just paying attention to just one aspect of our health. We're already past the struggle of getting them to brush their teeth. So basically, it was just a review and storytelling where I shared about their first time toothbrushing.

I also reminded them that not because we're just at home, they shouldn't be brushing at all. In fact, they should, because aside from it being basic hygiene, they have been eating a lot. We also talked about how difficult it is to access healthcare services during the pandemic. And that includes dental services. So yeah, as cliche as it is, prevention is better than cure!
