There is not a mom in the world that wouldn’t wish for more hours in the day. That is because it is always so fast and furious, and when we do get a half hour break here and there we don’t really know what to do with ourselves. Not because we don’t have anything to do but because there isn’t much we can do in that half an hour between dropping the eldest off at school and the little one’s doctor’s appointment. At least, that is what we tell ourselves. 

The truth is, however, that there are plenty of things that can be done during those half-hour breaks where your kid has fallen asleep or whatever; it is just a matter of knowing what, prioritizing and being efficient about it.
