How to get a PSA birth certificate online

How was your kids' first day of back to school, mommies? Tristan's been attending his blended class for almost a month now, while Athena and Brianna's first day is next week. Yep, they don't go to the same school anymore, hence the different schedule.

I transferred Tristan to a new school that caters to his special condition. The enrolment process was easy and done online. But, they required some documents, including his birth certificate. However, due to unfortunate events (intentionally used this as Tristan's favorite TV series is "The Series of Unfortunate Events" lol), his and his sister's birth certificates got torn out. So, I have to get them new ones.

Oh, I remember the last time I got our certificates. I had to go to the PSA office and go through the traffic, the heat, the queue, and the waiting time. And, as the mom that I am, I try to restrict my time spent out to avoid all those things, especially given the fact that COVID-19 is still around. So if I could, I'd do everything online. And I am glad to know that I can actually request PSA certificates online and have them delivered to my home!

How about you? Did you know you can get a copy of your birth certificate or any certificate and CENOMAR online? It's true, and it's pretty easy to do via PSAHelpline.ph. I just got ours! Yay! So in this blog, I'll walk you through the easy steps to getting your PSA birth certificate online. So keep reading!

Get your PSA certificates online in 3 easy steps.

Step 1: Request a certificate online

Go to psahelpline.ph on your computer or mobile phone and click on Order Now.

Then choose the type of certificate that you need, agree to the terms and conditions and click Continue.

You'll be asked whose birth certificate you are requesting. You can request your own, your kids', and your parents'.

Whether you are requesting your own certificate or someone else's, you will be required to fill in some information.

The website and the steps are pretty straightforward. As long as you have the basic information handy as well as your valid ID, you're good to go.

Step 2: Pay online or over-the-counter

One copy of PSA birth certificate costs PHP 365. CENOMAR is PHP 420.

And you can pay via the following payment options. So convenient, right?

Step 3: Wait for the delivery!

After paying, just wait for the certificates to be delivered to your doorstep!

How long will it take for you to receive your PSA certificates?

That would be 3-4 working days for Metro Manila and

3-8 working days outside Metro Manila.

Take note that only the requester of the PSA certificates must personally receive the delivery with a valid ID. The certificates won't be released even with an authorization letter.

But don't worry; once you request the certificates, you will automatically receive email and text notifications until they are delivered.

In any case, if you are not available on the day of delivery, you can make delivery arrangements.

That's it! Easy, right? So, if you've been wanting to get your birth certificate but have been waiting on it because you're like me, who doesn't want to leave your house and do much legwork, then this is the right time. All you need is a computer/mobile phone and an internet connection. The website is secure and easy to use so you can be sure that your information is safe and confidential.
